Kindergarten
Kindergarten is a very important stage in education. This is the foundation of every child and we at One Heart Africa Academy (OHAA) do not take it for granted. Children from ages 4 to 5 years are legible for kindergarten.
OHAA uses the renowned American Christian Curriculum – Abeka together with the Montessori way in Kindergarten.
About Abeka
The Abeka curriculum is a comprehensive, biblically-based curriculum from Preschool to Grade 12. Using textbooks, teaching aids and a proven spiral learning approach, the curriculum produces great results. Since 1985, the curriculum has produced ProTeach Lesson Videos that feature master teachers leading lessons in a classroom environment. The Abeka Curriculum has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS) and by the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS).
